Because we all used to call this place home at some point in time (or else, WHY ARE YOU HERE?), I feel obligated to plop in some forum software to allow everyone to chat, say "hi" and basically hassle me and others for allowing WarCrack to suck our time...

Knock yourself out. Annoymous posts are allowed, but that may be temporary if it is abused.

Finally, if you created an account before today, there's a good chance the system did not properly email you your password. Step through the recovery process. It should work now.

The-Space.Net is dead. Long Dead.

We started this whole thing as just a place to check to see who was playing our Counterstrike server. That was it. Eventually it morphed into something REALLY cool for a while. Then it died a slow agonizing death. Painful as it was, the slow death was mostly the result of my own general apathy. Somewhere between my own diminishing skills on shooters and a massive Warcrack addiction, the maintenance of the website / community was lost. I do not plan to try a revival. Nope. The-Space as you knew it once is dead. I'll always have fond memories of when we were popular, but trying to recapture that will flat-out fail.

Now what?

This is now simply "my page". Andy's. I'll be throwing up forums I suppose and I'll be making this look a little like a community page since I do want to allow folks to stop by and say "Hey" just like when we were cool. I might even do a little gaming related stuff here. (Warcrack is still going strong, but Spud and Chalk have claimed I really need to get involed in some old-skool FPSing with OpenArena.)

So... "Hey. Glad you found me. Sorry the place is dead. We're not cool any more. Back to Geekdom."
